St. Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, concentration in accounting.

Gene is a 1977 graduate of St. Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, concentration in accounting. He received his Pennsylvania Certified Public Accountant’s license in 1989 and is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Subsequent to attaining his CPA license Gene maintained a sole practitioner CPA firm prior to joining Green & Bridges, LLP in January 2000. His practice experience includes providing tax and accounting advice, research and compliance services, tax return preparation, as well as financial statement preparation for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts. Gene began his professional career as an auditor with the State of South Carolina. Other professional experience includes service in the tax and audit departments of a Johnstown, PA CPA firm, financial and operations principal of a broker / dealer and financial planning group, controller of a business management company, and CFO of a commercial printing company. Currently, in addition to supplementing Green & Bridges workforce, Gene is controller of a group of companies that owns two golf courses.
